Your full name

Total number of passengers – Make sure you include infants and children in the total number of passengers.

Arrival landing time, Arrival flight number and Flight company name – We constantly monitor flight arrival times for possible delays.

Mobile phone number included your country code – This is really useful if we need to contact with you once your journey has begun or during your stay.

Hotel address – For any resort of stay there may be more than one hotel, apartment complex or villa with the same name. For the villas we need the official website of it, the coordinates and the mobile phone number of the owner in order to give us accurate information about the location as many of the villas are in remote areas. In order to avoid the confusion we need full information about the resort of stay.

MEET AND GREET

The driver of our company will be at the meeting point of the airport’s arrival hall B, which is located in front of the exit of the luggage hall B. Exit B is located next to all car rental offices. The driver will be holding a sign which will state the logo with the name of our Travel Agency named Edem Travel in order to recognize him. If you have any difficulty locating him please call to the emergency mobile phone number. The driver will also assist you with your luggage on the way to the short stay car park at the airport terminal, as well as at your destination.

We will be there waiting for you without extra charge.

You will inform us about the incident via mail and we will reply you as soon as possible.

In case of forgotten items by the customers, the driver will store them after he have already informed about the incident the company and the company the client.

In case of booking one of our vehicles (Coach – Minibus – Taxi) and we are not able to provide it will be for one of the following reasons:

Arrival flight delay of the previous transfer either of Chania airport or Heraklion Airport or due to an external factor such as traffic jam etc…

Because we do not want our clients to stay in waiting the vehicle, οur company will make the transport with one of our other vehicles. For example: In case we can not provide you the coach bus the transport will be made by minibus, taxi or vice versa. Of course your transportation will be private only for you and without extra charge.

All reservation requests are passing through validation. In case there are no mistakes or missing details we will send you your transfer ticket (either the missing details) at your e-mail with in 24 hours. Please keep in mind that last minute reservations can not be accepted.

If the day of the transfer the client doesn’t come to the meeting point at the pre-agreed meeting time, the driver of our company is obligated to wait maximum 10 minutes, after that time the driver will depart and No refund will be given. In that case the company has no responsibility for not carrying out the transfer.

It’s a service that we can provide you with out any extra charge upon your arrival or your departure transfer up to 3 extra stops in case that your hotels of stay are in different areas. To make this happen the stops must be made in the same direction until your final destination .(for example it could be a group of people staying for their holidays in 2 or 3 or 4 different hotels)

*Please be informed that if your group upon your arrival is coming is with 2 or 3 different flights our company will sent the vehicle to collect all the clients with the last arrival flight. Also if you have booked an arrival transfer with extra drop off & pick up points due your departure the last drop off point of your arrival will be the first pick up point the day of your departure.

If you have booked an arrival transfer with extra drop off points and the departure of each group of people has a different date, then you have to make a different reservation for each departure.

Upon your departure transfer also please remember that you must be at the airport 2 hours before the departure of your flight

Due to coronavirus you can request total refund up to 48 ours before your arrival to Crete, in order to refund your money we need: Bank Name, Swift Code, IBAN number, Account’s owner name & reservation voucher number.

FAQs about Excursions

If your pick up point is out of the 10km perimeter zone but is on the way to your desired trip there is no extra charge. On the other hand if your pick up point is out of the perimeter zone and not on the way for the trip then when you will fill in the reservation form, automatically will be displayed our new offer for your excursion with the increased costs based on the new kilometer distance.

A private trip can be designed according to your preferences just for you, more over the pickup/drop-off point will be your resort of stay. On the other hand if you participate in a mix group the program is standard according to the company’s schedule and cannot be amended. For the participants of the mix groups the meetings points are specific. If your resort of stay is far from these specific meeting points the expenses for your transport in order to go from your accommodation to these meeting points (and vice versa) are not provided from our company.

If you choose a private trip there are plenty ways of payment, you can prepay online throughout our website, you can pay direct to the driver at the end of your trip with cash or alternately you can come to our office. If you prefer to participate in a mix group then the payment of your ticket can be made only online or alternately you come to our office. (Reservations are accepted no later than 2 days before the day trip).

Escort is the person who will be with you from the time boarding to the vehicle until the end of the trip to the drop-off point – your resort of stay. The escort doesn’t have the right to have entrance in museums or archaeological sites.

On the other hand an official guide is the person who has university certified education. Only the official certified guides are allowed to have entrance at any site no matter if it will be archaeological or not. Since the daily trip that you will choose includes museums etc…

No, if your resort of stay is not out of the 10 km perimeter zone of Chania city center, if don’t exceed predetermined time duration or if you don’t want an escort/official guide.

All the vehicles of our company have in the windscreen the logo our company (Edem Travel Agency) more over the escort/official guide/driver will be informed about your name.

When the number of passengers is up to 4 the trip is usually made by Mercedes taxi , for groups of 5-10 & 11-19 passengers the trips are usually made by Mercedes Sprinter while for groups of 20-30 & 31-50 category the trip is made by coach such us Mercedes, Setra ,Neoplan etc.

Some excursions such us Samaria gorge, Balos Gramvousa cruise, Spinalonga, Botanical park and Agia Triada Monastery have specific pick-up time and you can not start your excursion at any time due to specific boat time departures, specific opening times to the museums, monasteries and etc..
